We have a very experienced and friendly team at Clark and Poole. We have lots of customers that we have been helping for many years, since they bought their first house….and now we are helping their children as well! It’s a huge compliment and a sign that we are getting things right!
As an independent and directly authorised company we are not governed by the sales targets of any organisation; our advice is purely driven by our desire to get our customer the best deal.
It is fair to say that we aren’t easily beaten. We are extremely tenacious and will pull out all the stops to get you what you need.

Andy established Clark and Poole with Bob Poole in 2009. He retired at the end of 2025 but is still a regular in the office.

Simon has been advising clients on their mortgages for the last 20 years so there is nothing he doesn’t know about mortgages and he works wonders in the most difficult situations. He is a local lad who grew up in Crowthorne. Simon is our office sportaholic.

How we are paid
We are paid by the mortgage lenders and insurance providers to complete all the administration on your application. This is paid as a commission, and you will be able to see the payment we will receive on each option presented so that our recommendations are completely transparent. We prefer not to charge you any fees on top of these commissions, unlike many other Intermediaries who charge a fee as standard. In every circumstance, all commissions and fees are discussed at the outset and agreed by you.
